This vaccine is given to children 10-18 years of age and is available through the health departments. You can make an appointment by calling 659-3101.
Does your child suffer from an allergy to pollen? If your child has a headache, dry cough, runny eyes and nose-It could be an allergy to pollen. Even some of these symptoms could indicate an allergy. Consult your Pediatrician and start them on a preventative medication like Claritin, Zyrtec etc. Virginia has a high pollen count.
